Jeevith Kumar N M is an enthusiastic embedded engineer with a passion for exploring, learning, designing, and applying new modules and technology to keep himself updated and make the best out of it for the organization he works for. With over 9 years of experience in embedded firmware and framework development on ARM and MIPS controllers, he has gained good experience in USB Type-C, USBPD, and Qi wireless charging stack and firmware development. Currently working as a Staff Firmware Engineer at Infineon Technologies, Jeevith is a key contributor for Power SDK and Automotive SDK development for Cypress’s USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (USBPD) solutions. He is also part of the Qi wireless charging solution project, where his major work involves stack and various algorithms development. His core competencies include design and development of SDK for USB Power Delivery complying to USBIF Specifications, power adapter, power bank, car rear seat charger, car head unit applications, voltage regulation involving firmware algorithm and feedback loop, familiarization with CSA and Fault protection features (UVP, OVP, SCP, OCP) involving usage of Comparators and ADC, design and development of feature algorithms which distinguishes Cypress Power and Automotive SDK from competition, blackbox feature, tickless software timer system, optimization of existing libraries for better performance and code size reduction, involved in new silicon bring up activities, and ROM code design and development. Prior to joining Infineon Technologies, Jeevith worked as an Embedded Application Engineer at Microchip Technology, where he was a key contributor for industry-leading embedded software framework MPLAB Harmony for feature-rich 32-bit microcontroller application development. He has also worked as an Embedded System Intern at Software Resource House (SRH) in Bengaluru, where he worked with different kinds of new-age sensors by interfacing with a customized board for making the water supply and management an efficient system. Jeevith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PES University and completed his schooling and PUC in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) from Navodaya.
